Sophomore Leadership Internship

As a scholar attending a minority-serving institution, learn about the auto finance industry in our paid, 8-week job-shadowing experience. You’ll focus on key aspects of the relationship between auto lender and dealership, including sales, marketing and dealer operations.

Strategic Account Manager (SAM) program

Prepare for an Account Manager role in our 3- to 6-month career development program. You’ll support and market GM Financial products while communicating with dealers and internal partners. Enjoy rotating through key roles to build a strong network.

Latin America programs

Latin America internship

This part-time, paid internship runs from 6 months to 2 years. Open to students in México, Colombia, Chile and Brazil.

Early Careers Operations internship (Mexico only)

For recent university graduates, this 18-month paid internship rotates interns through two operational departments.

Apprentices and Inclusion

This paid apprenticeship explores different business areas. Open to students in Brazil and Colombia.

How we hire

1 - Application submission

Create a candidate profile, or log in to your existing account, and complete your application.

2 - Resume review

Your resume is reviewed to make sure your experience aligns with the job requirements.

3 - Screening call

If your experience matches the job requirements, a recruiter schedules a call with you. To prepare, explore our website to learn more about our business and values. Consider what excites you about the job. Be ready to explain why you’d succeed in the role.

Certain roles include a skills assessment or recorded prescreen interview.

4 - Interviews

Once you’ve moved beyond the screening call, you’ll have two to three interviews (virtual or on-site) with the hiring manager and their team. We’ll ask you to use the EAO method to describe your skills and experience.
