General Motors has been a leader in crafting vehicles that drivers trust for more than 100 years. Across its four iconic brands — Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac — GM has built a reputation for durability, innovation and performance. After its initial founding in 1899, Buick became the company that established GM beginning in 1908. It quickly became the cornerstone of the company, providing vehicles that blend style and reliability. Following soon after, Cadillac was acquired in 1909.
