8 MyAccount Features That Keep You in Control

In today's fast-paced world, technology has revolutionized the way we manage our finances. GM Financial's MyAccount is a powerful tool designed to simplify your auto finance management, offering a range of features that make it easier than ever to stay on top of your account.
Stay informed and connected
MyAccount provides a personalized portal where you can view your account number, payment progress, amount due, vehicle details and other information, all from your dashboard. You can also check your account details to see how many payments you have remaining, how much interest you paid last year (if you’re a retail customer) and when your next payment is due. If you have questions or need help, you can message a Customer Experience representative through MyAccount or the mobile app.
Access Anytime, Anywhere
The GM Financial Mobile app provides 24/7 access to your account, allowing you to manage your finances on the go. With the app, you can:
- Pay your bill
- Send us a message
- Enroll in paperless billing
- Sign up for Auto Pay
- Contact your dealership to schedule service
- View offers
- Review statements
As your needs evolve, MyAccount continually improves to enhance your web and mobile app experience.
Simplified billing and payments
MyAccount makes it easy to manage your payments with a variety of payment options. You can pay online, set up Auto Pay, pay over the phone or mail your payment, among other options. Setting up Auto Pay ensures that forgotten payments and late fees are a thing of the past by automatically deducting payments from your bank account. If you prefer to make each payment manually, MyAccount offers notifications and SMS alerts to help you stay on track, including payment reminders and late payment alerts.
Go paperless
Reduce clutter and simplify your bill-paying process by going paperless. In MyAccount, you have the ability to select the Go Paperless option to stop receiving paper statements in the mail. You’ll have access to your monthly statements as soon as they’re available, without waiting for postal delivery.
Manage multiple accounts
If you have multiple GM Financial customer accounts, MyAccount makes it easy to reference them with one login. Simply select “Link Accounts” on the MyAccount dashboard to manage all your accounts in one place. Note: This feature is not available to all customers, so log in to see if you’re eligible.
Add new vehicles
Leasing or buying a new car is an exciting event, and MyAccount makes it easy to add another vehicle to your account. Visit your profile online or in the app, click “Add a New Vehicle,” and enter your account number to manage your new vehicle alongside your existing ones.
Earn and redeem rewards
Creating an account with GM Rewards allows you to earn points redeemable toward GM and GM Financial products and services. You can earn points by completing your GM Financial MyAccount profile, enrolling in GM Rewards and purchasing or leasing a new GM vehicle. These points can be redeemed toward:
- Your GM Financial account, including things like excess wear and mileage.
- Accessories
- The lease or purchase of a new GM vehicle
- OnStar® services
- Protection Plan Allowances
Payoff quotes and more
As you approach the end of your financing contract, MyAccount allows you to see how much it would cost to pay off your account. You can request and print a payoff quote to send in your final payment. Additionally, MyAccount offers a toolbox of videos showing you how to request a payoff quote, as well as make payments, go paperless and more.
